IU Network Maintenance Scheduled
IU network improvements to cause brief outages (IUB/IUPUI/IUN/IUK)
On Sunday, Nov. 11, 3-5am, IU network engineers will upgrade the network environment in the IUB machine room in preparation for upgrading the network firewalls that protect the data center. This upgrade will provide more capacity to address future growth in network traffic to the data center.
During this time, please expect IUB and IUPUI network outages of up to 30 minutes. The upgrade will temporarily affect all services including network authentication (CAS, ADS, Network ID), email, Oncourse CL, OneStart, Timekeeping, Steel, MDSS, RFS and the central Web servers.
