Mytob worm targeting IU accounts (IUB/IUPUI)
Beware of email containing attachments that appear to be from IU/IUPUI accounts and support staff informing you that you have successfully updated your password, your account is suspended for security reasons, or variations of these subjects. These are not legitimate mailings from UITS.Variants of Mytob, a computer worm that sends out mass-mailings using a computer’s address book, have recently attempted to affect university computers.
If your computer is compromised, you will need to rebuild it. Please do not open the attachments on these messages.
