Connecting to Webserve

1. Login Information
To connect to your Webserve account you will need to use the following information: 
Server/Host Name: webserve.iu.edu
Username: account_name
Password: the network passphrase for the Webserve account
  • Replace account_name with the name of your web account. For most accounts, the name of the account appears after the tilde (~) in the URL for that account.

  • If you are connecting to your account from outside the IU Network, you must make a VPN Connection in order to connect to Webserve

  • Webserve accounts use the network passphrase to authenticate which may be different than the password that had been used to login to the account on Veritas. For information on this see Passphrase Change
2. How do I use SSH and SFTP to connect to Webserve?

3. Can I use Dreamweaver to connect to my account on Webserve?
